Jesse Cardenas

Guitar/Vocals- Jesse Cardenas was born in Eagle Pass, Texas and is a retired Army veteran.
Jesse begin playing guitar at age 10 at a local church. Throughout his teens he played in numerous bands and genres from rock, pop, country funk and latin.
In 1997, while stationed in South Korea, his country band won the battle of the bands, advancing them to the All Army Battle of the Band in Schofield Barracks, HI.
There, Jesse was selected to tour with the USA Express-Army Show Band.
Again, in 2001, he departed on tour to Asia and the Pacific Islands with USA Express performing for Armed Forces members and their families.
In 2002, he performed as the lead guitarist for the musical Godspell in Vilseck, Germany and was awarded “Best Instrumentalist.
When Jesse returned to the United States and stationed at Fort Knox, KY, he was hired as bassist and director for a salsa band, known as “Salsa Rhythms”.
He led them successfully for 2 years until his departure to pursue a more versatile musical experience.
He then teamed up with local musicians to organize the pop band known as Bar Nuns from Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
His main guitar influences are Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Randy Rhoads, Ace Frehley, Andy Timmons, SRV- just to name a few.
Currently, Jesse lives in Seguin, Texas enjoying retirement life, spending time with his wife of 35 years and FaceTiming with the grandkids.
